About BlinKode
What is BlinKode?
BlinKode builds compliance intelligence for the permit workflow. It has two products: CodeEase, which makes building code easier to search, understand, and use; and Codiag, which brings that clarity to compliance — checking drawings and documents for gaps and missing information.
The products
What is CodeEase?
CodeEase turns each building-code article into a structured Master Card — plain-language explanation, diagrams, logic flow, visible citations, and an interactive relationship chart across related requirements. The goal: find the right reference faster, and apply it with more confidence.
What is Codiag (CodiagFlow and CodiagPro)?
Codiag is the compliance side of BlinKode. CodiagFlow is being built as an add-on that checks compliance as you design, inside your design software. CodiagPro reviews the full permit package before submission. Both link every finding back to the relevant CodeEase Master Card. Codiag follows after CodeEase.
Do I need to install anything?
CodeEase runs in your browser. CodiagFlow is being designed to run as an add-on inside the design tools you already use (such as Revit or AutoCAD), so checks happen without leaving your workflow.
Early access & launch
When does it launch? What does “early access” mean?
CodeEase comes first, with early access opening soon — join the waitlist and we'll reach out when it does. Codiag follows as we build it out. We'll share concrete timing with waitlist members before anyone else.
How much will it cost?
Pricing isn't set yet. Waitlist members will hear about it first, and early users will have a say in shaping it.
Which codes and jurisdictions does it cover?
We're starting with the Ontario Building Code, with more jurisdictions to follow. If there's a code you'd want next, tell us when you join.
Trust, data & accuracy
Can I trust the guidance? How accurate is it?
Every Master Card is code-cited and traceable back to the source article — guidance is always explainable and source-linked. BlinKode is built to support professional judgment, not replace it, and to be clear about where assumptions apply.
Does it replace a code consultant or the building official?
No. BlinKode helps you understand and apply requirements more clearly and quickly. Authority decisions remain with the AHJ, and permit approval is theirs.
Is my data safe?
We only collect what we need — your name, email, an optional role, and any feedback you choose to give. We don't sell it, and we don't ask you to upload drawings or documents on this site. See our Privacy Policy for the details.
Getting involved
How can I get involved now?
Three ways: join the waitlist for early access, book a 20-minute demo to see CodeEase, or review sample Code Master Cards and tell us what's useful, unclear, or missing.
