Privacy Policy
BlinKode is a pre-launch product. This policy explains what we collect when you join the waitlist, book a demo, or review sample Code Master Cards — and how we handle it. We keep it short and plain, because that's how we think trust should work.
1. Who we are
BlinKode is operated by Mehran Doulatabadi, a sole proprietor based in Thornhill, Ontario, Canada. For any privacy question, reach us at Blinkode.ca@gmail.com.
2. What we collect
We only collect what we need to run the waitlist and learn from early users:
- Waitlist & portal forms: your name, email address, and (optionally) your professional role.
- Feedback you choose to give: your ratings and comments on sample Code Master Cards, and any general feedback you send.
- How you found us: basic source / campaign information (UTM parameters) when present in the link you arrived from.
- Demo bookings: if you book a demo, it's handled by a third-party scheduling provider under their own terms.
We do not ask you to upload drawings or project documents on this site. If that changes once the product launches, this policy will be updated first.
3. How we use your information
- To tell you when early access opens and to share occasional product updates.
- To respond to demo requests and questions.
- To improve the product based on the feedback you give.
We do not use your information for automated decisions that affect you, and we never sell it.
4. How we use AI and your content
BlinKode uses AI to turn building code into clearer, structured guidance. That guidance is for information only — it's there to support your professional judgment, not replace it, and authority decisions always remain with the AHJ.
We do not use your personal information, or anything you share with us, to train AI models for anyone else. If we ever let you upload drawings or project files, we'll be clear about exactly how they're used and update this policy first.
5. Email & your consent (CASL)
When you join the waitlist or share your email, you're consenting to receive related emails from BlinKode. Every email includes an unsubscribe link, and you can opt out at any time — instantly and without giving a reason. We honour unsubscribe requests promptly.
6. Who processes your data
We rely on a small set of trusted third-party providers to run the site, store waitlist signups and feedback, send our emails, and schedule demos. They process information only on our behalf, under their own security and privacy commitments. We don't share your information with anyone else, and we never sell it.
7. Where your data is processed
Some of the providers we rely on store and process information outside Canada, including in the United States, where privacy laws may differ from those where you live. Wherever your information goes, we work with providers who commit to protecting it, and we only ever share what's needed to run the service.
8. How long we keep it
We keep your information for as long as you're on the waitlist or in contact with us. If you unsubscribe or ask us to delete your data, we'll remove it from our active records.
9. Security
We take reasonable steps to protect your information and limit access to it. No method of storage or transmission is perfectly secure, but we work to keep what you share safe.
10. Your rights
Under Canadian privacy law (PIPEDA), you can ask to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you. Email Blinkode.ca@gmail.com and we'll take care of it.
11. Cookies & analytics
We are not running website analytics or advertising cookies at this stage. If we add analytics later, we'll update this policy and, where required, ask for your consent.
12. Changes to this policy
As BlinKode grows, this policy will change — especially around launch. We'll update the date at the top and, for significant changes, let waitlist members know.
13. Contact
